2012 CARP TOURNAMENT

 

 

We are now taking preliminary applications for 'THE BIG FISH 2012' tournament.

This year (Sept 1st-Sept 3rd 2011 tournament) we gave away around £12,000 in sponsor prizes for carp up to 19lb 10oz in the pairs tournament on Rockla lake (won by Tracy-Lee Khan & David Anderson of Team 'Steamies' Individual Baits), Scott Bennington in the singles tournament on Blackhorse lake and Tom Lawrie in the singles cast-off competition.

 We are now officially in the 'LEGENDARY' catagory for prize tournaments in the UK alongside the BCAC and FISHOMANIA.

Our sincerest thanks go out to every company who facilitated this amazing prize pool, especially to NASH TACKLE & WYCHWOOD plus our foreign resort holiday contributors and everybody in between!

PLEASE NOTE- THIS IS A CHARITY EVENT WITH A £400 MINIMUM PEG FEE BY SPONSORSHIP. The prize pool FOR 2012 will be around £15,000 (total bag, biggest fish/singles & pairs) . It's a great laugh... but we also take this event very seriously. If you are at all unsure whether you want to enter or not then it's probably best if you don't!!!

You don't even have to put your own hand in your own poocket, just get out there and find a couple of companies to put their logo on your shirt- or collar friends, family members etc.. to raise a minimum of £400. There will be a special prize for the angler who raises the most money above the £400. This year we gave away 3 full sets of NASH SIREN RS1's to our highest fundraisers- Gaz Cole & John Quinn in the pairs and James Fuller in the singles.

There will be a lot of media coverage this year; but above all it's about raising as much money for 'The sick childrens trust' as we can. www.sickchildrenstrust.org
